The Beautiful Greek Catholic Church
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() This church was built in 1877, and recently held its' last funeral. This church is currently in extremely delapidated condition. A new church was erected about 200 yards from this location. Construction on the church was started in 2006, and was completely financed by the village. There are Greek Catholic and Jewish Cemeteries in the village, as well as 6 different military cemeteries in the surrounding areas. The military cemeteries are of Russian and Austro-Hungarian Soldiers who fell during the First World War. The military cemeteries are, for the most part, mass graves of unknown soldiers. The current parish priest is Vladmír Mikluš-Sekera. Archbishop Ján Babjak is pictured above at a rededication ceremony of the remains of Julius Stavrovskyj . Next to him is the current mayor Alexander Kulik.
