Great Website. My mother's family is from Elkhorn West •••••••• and old family names are Semonco, Dimun and Safran. Todd Sekela, what is/are the names of your family in Elkhorn WV?
Great site in a WWW of too many pages, this one I can use. Paternal Great Grandparents are (as best as I can tell) from this town, then emigrated to Elkhorn, WV to work the coal mines. I was able to converse with Nick a bit and unfortunately there was not a whole lot of family talk about the old country. This site gives me a jumping off point to find out more. WV has excellent digitized birth/death/marriage records. Now onto the church records at familysearch.org.
Thanks for the site Nick!
